Graph Neural Network‐Based Prediction of Building Energy Consumption
A graph neural network that encodes a multi‐zone building as a graph accurately predicts hourly cooling and heating loads across three distinct climates, outperforming Random Forest and XGBoost baselines and serving as a fast surrogate to EnergyPlus simulations for scalable building energy management.

ABSTRACT Efficient energy management is a requirement for advanced factories, which require vast amounts of energy to operate and are often powered by a single grid connection with varying prices caused by fluctuations. These types of industrial consumers often choose to adopt local renewable energy generators.

This study presents a photodetector based on atomically thin MoS2 on an InP substrate, forming an n‐MoS2/p‐InP type‐II staggered heterojunction. The device exhibits excellent rectifying properties with an ideality factor of 1.57 and achieves a peak photoresponsivity of 960 mA W−1, while MoS2 provides stable passivation for InP. III–V semiconductors are

Multi-Objective Optimization of Energy Saving Control for Air Conditioning System in Data Center
A multi-objective optimization scheme is proposed to save energy for a data center air conditioning system (ACS). Since the air handling units (AHU) and chillers are the most energy consuming facilities, the proposed energy saving control scheme aims to ...

ABSTRACT Achieving Agenda 2030 depends on addressing interactions between the sustainable development goals (SDGs). In this paper, we conceptualize SDG interactions as synergies or trade‐offs, incoming or outgoing, and internal or external, and analyze how SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) interacts with other SDGs within and across policy programmes that support ...

An integrated vapor chamber couples a hierarchically biporous copper wick with a micro/nano‐textured superhydrophobic condenser to form a self‐sustained liquid–vapor loop. The device dissipates extreme heat fluxes above 600 W/cm2, even when the condenser is above the heater, by overcoming the permeability‐capillarity trade‐off in conventional vapor ...
