Acid Resistant and Highly Silver Selective Membranes Based on Charged Nanoporous 2D‐Materials

In this work, new membranes based on charged & nanoporous nanosheets with unprecedented selectivity to silver versus a wide range of other metallic ions are reported. Furthermore, a demonstrated and lead specific intralamellar lead pathway is demonstrated. A potential applicability for ubiquitous silver in WEEE is validated.

An Artificial metalloenzyme was designed by a Michael addition between a MnSalen complex and a cysteine residue within NikA crystals. The heterogeneous catalyst was found capable of an enantioselective and stereospecific epoxidation of cis‐β‐methylstyrene in cristallo.

Seeded‐Growth of ZIF‐8 onto Magnetic Nanoparticles: Smart Nanocarriers with Ultrahigh Drug Loading for AMF‐Triggered Release

We developed core‐shell iron oxide@ZIF‐8 magnetic‐MOF nanohybrids via a seeded growth method for magnetic hyperthermia‐triggered drug delivery. Cubic cores and thinner shells maximized heating. In‐situ doxorubicin encapsulation achieved 98% loading, better than surface encapsulation. Polymer coating improved stability.

ABSTRACT The electrochemical performance of the spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4, a high‐voltage positive electrode material for Li‐ion batteries (LIBs), is influenced by the transition metal arrangement in the octahedral network, leading to disordered (Fd3̲m$Fd\underline 3 m$ S.G.) and ordered (P4332 S.G.) structures.
