An expressed sequence tags analysis for leaves of Chinese milk vetch (Astragalus sinicus)

Legume Research - An International Journal, 2015
Chinese milk vetch (Astragalus sinicus) is one of the most important green manure crops in temperate zone countries. To identify the genes involved in plant growth, a cDNA library was constructed from the mature leaves of Chinese milk vetch, and expressed sequence tag analysis was performed.

Identification and Symbiotic Phenotype Characterization of an OPDA Reductase Gene AsOPR1 in Chinese Milk Vetch

Plant Molecular Biology Reporter, 2017
In higher plants, the 12-oxo-phytodienoic acid reductase (OPR) family mainly consists of two subgroups. OPR3-like enzymes belong to subgroup II, and they were proved to be key functional enzymes participating in jasmonic acid (JA) biosynthesis, while functions of OPR1-like enzymes classified into subgroup I remain largely unclear, particularly in ...

Organic amendments increased Chinese milk vetch symbiotic nitrogen fixation by enriching Mesorhizobium in rhizosphere.

Environmental Research
Symbiotic nitrogen fixation of Chinese milk vetch (Astragalus sinicus L.) can fix nitrogen from the atmosphere and serve as an organic nitrogen source in agricultural ecosystems. Exogenous organic material application is a common practice of affecting symbiotic nitrogen fixation; however, the results of the regulation activities remain under discussion.

Weed population dynamics in wheat as affected by Astragalus sinicus L. (Chinese milk vetch) under reduced tillage

Crop Protection, 2005
An understanding of the weed population dynamics under reduced tillage systems is essential in order to achieve successful weed control without using herbicides under a sustainable soil management system. A switch from conventional to conservational tillage alters the weed species composition and temporal pattern of emergence of weeds.

Relevance of dissolved organic matter generated from green manuring of Chinese milk vetch in relation to water-soluble cadmium

Environmental Science and Pollution Research, 2019
Dissolved organic matter (DOM) can become a carrier of soil contaminants. Therefore, an understanding of the evolution and characteristics of DOM produced by Chinese milk vetch during green manuring is crucial. In this study, DOM solutions from 28 days' manuring with three different organic materials were characterized using three-dimensional ...

[Effects of intercropping Chinese milk vetch on functional characteristics of soil microbial community in rape rhizosphere].

Ying yong sheng tai xue bao = The journal of applied ecology, 2018
The application of green manure is facing serious problems in purple soil region of southwest China. With the aim to explore the potential application of green manure, we examined the functional characteristics of soil microbial community in a system of Chinese milk vetch intercropped with rape. The innovations are the application of Chinese milk vetch
