Metaanalysis of ChIP-chip Data
2010Genome-wide analysis of histone modifications via ChIP-chip (chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by whole genome tiling array hybridization) may generate lists of up to several thousand potential target genes. In the case of the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana, several databases are available to alleviate further characterization and ...

Ballistic SFQ signal propagation on-chip and chip-to-chip
IEEE Transactions on Appiled Superconductivity, 2003We recently reported communication up to 60 Gb/s between digital superconductor chips mounted on a passive carrier, using a novel driver circuit that produces a double-flux-quantum pulse. Here, we answer various practical questions pertaining to chip-to-chip and on-chip communication in greater detail.

On-chip positionable photonic waveguides for chip-to-chip optical interconnects [PDF]
This paper reports on the progress related to a multichannel photonic alignment concept, aiming for sub-micrometer precision in the alignment of the waveguides of two photonic integrated circuits (PICs). The concept consists of two steps: chip-to-chip positioning and chip bonding provide a coarse alignment after which waveguide-to-waveguide positioning

Regulatory T (Treg) cells play a key role in dominant suppression of immune response and maintenance of immune homeostasis. Foxp3, a member of the forkhead transcription factor family, is indispensable for Treg cell development and function. Mice and human with Foxp3 mutations are severely impaired in Treg cell generation and develop lethal autoimmune ...

Chip-to-chip optical interconnects
2006 Optical Fiber Communication Conference and the National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference, 2006Terabus is based on a silicon-carrier interposer on an organic card containing 48 polymer waveguides. We have demonstrated 4/spl times/12 arrays of low power optical transmitters and receivers, operating up to 20 Gb/s and 14 Gb/s per channel respectively.

High-speed on-chip and chip-to-chip optical interconnection
SPIE Proceedings, 2003The present and the potential performances of opto-electronic elements such as a laser diode (LD), a photo diodes (PD) and an optical waveguide for optical interconnects are described. The fabrication and the integration technologies of the opto-electronic chips are also mentioned.

Cell membranes are not simply barriers separating intracellular from extracellular space. Rather, they represent a dynamic high-turnover system that adapts to current demands. During inflammation, prostaglandins and leukotrienes are formed from membrane-derived phospholipids.

ChIP-on-Chip Analysis of DNA Topoisomerases
2009Here we describe an adapted ChIP-on-chip protocol for the analysis of DNA topoisomerase chromosomal binding in Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells. The ChIP-on-chip technique is based on the immunoprecipitation of crosslinked chromatin (ChIP, chromatin immunoprecipitation), followed by DNA amplification and hybridization to high-density oligonucleotide ...

A chip-to-chip nanoliter microfluidic dispenser
Lab on a Chip, 2009A high-throughput microfluidic device is developed to handle liquid dispensation in nanoliter range. The dispenser system shows no cross-contamination between the microwells, indicating its great potential in large-scale screening experiments. An array of 115 nl PCR reactions, as well as the single channel addressable chip demonstrate the high ...
