The following description oi some features of the life of the Aboriginal people of the Innamincka area before its disruption by white settlers was given by the late Ben Kerwin (Man-gili), last speaker of the Innamincka dialect of the Yandruwandha language, to Gavan Breen, a linguist working on a grant from the Australian Institute of Aboriginal Studies.
