Te Vacancy‐Driven Anomalous Transport in ZrTe5 and HfTe5

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Less is more! Recent discoveries in topological quantum materials have rekindled excitement for direct observation of quantum anomalies in a condensed matter physics laboratory, which is historically intractable in particle and cosmological physics. Using atomistic modeling this study sheds light on the source of the anomalous transport properties that

Distinct Composition‐Dependent Topological Hall Effect in Mn2‐xZnxSb

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
A comprehensive magnetotransport study on centrosymmetric tetragonal material Mn2‐xZnxSb reveals the coexistence of two distinct temperature dependences on topological Hall effects in low‐ and high‐Zn composition samples. Magneto‐optic Kerr effect study further reveals different domain behaviors for these two groups of samples.

Axion‐Like Interactions and CFT in Topological Matter, Anomaly Sum Rules and the Faraday Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This review investigates the connection between chiral anomalies and their manifestation in topological materials, using both perturbative methods based on ordinary quantum field theory and conformal field theory (CFT). It emphasizes the role of CFT in momentum space for parity‐odd correlation functions, and their reconstruction by the inclusion of a ...

Altermagnetism in NiSi and Antiferromagnetic Candidate Materials with Non‐Collinear Spins

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Altermagnetism has emerged as new class of phenomena in magnetic materials. But experimental evidences to the theoretically proposed concept is still scarce. That's because the research is mostly focused on collinear antiferromagnets and ignoring the vast landscape rendered by non‐collinear spin correlation.

On the anomaly interpretation of amplitudes in self-dual Yang-Mills and gravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate the integrability anomalies arising in the self-dual sectors of gravity and Yang-Mills theory, focusing on their connection to both the chiral anomaly and the trace anomaly.

A Conformal Transmissive Metasurface with Dual‐Band Dual‐Circularly Polarized Conversion and Low Scattering

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
A conformal transmissive metasurface with the multi‐function is introduces, which could transform y‐polarized waves into right‐handed circularly polarized waves in 6.8–10.3 GHz and to left‐handed circularly polarized waves in 18.77–21.15 GHz, while vice versa for x‐polarized waves.
