Chiral anomaly trapped in Weyl metals: Nonequilibrium valley polarization at zero magnetic field
In Weyl semimetals the application of parallel electric and magnetic fields leads to valley polarization -- an occupation disbalance of valleys of opposite chirality -- a direct consequence of the chiral anomaly.

We consider the properties of electric circuits involving Weyl semimetals. The existence of the anomaly-induced chiral magnetic current in a Weyl semimetal subjected to magnetic field causes an interesting and unusual behavior of such circuits.

Chiral And Parity Anomalies At Finite Temperature And Density [PDF]
Two closely related topological phenomena are studied at finite density and temperature. These are chiral anomaly and Chern-Simons term. By using different methods it is shown that $\mu^2 = m^2$ is the crucial point for Chern-Simons at zero temperature ...

Chiral Anomaly in Toroidal Carbon Nanotubes [PDF]
It is pointed out that the chiral anomaly in 1+1 dimensions should be observed in toroidal carbon nanotubes on a planar geometry with varying magnetic field. We show that the chiral anomaly is closely connected with the persistent current in a one-dimensional metallic ring.

Chiral Anomaly from Strain-Induced Gauge Fields in Dirac and Weyl Semimetals
Dirac and Weyl semimetals form an ideal platform for testing ideas developed in high-energy physics to describe massless relativistic particles. One such quintessentially field-theoretic idea of the chiral anomaly already resulted in the prediction and ...

Parity-odd 3-point functions from CFT in momentum space and the chiral anomaly
We illustrate how the Conformal Ward Identities (CWI) in momentum space for parity-odd correlators determine the structure of a chiral anomaly interaction, taking the example of the VVA (vector/vector/axial-vector) and AAA correlators in momentum space ...

We present new techniques for finding anomaly-free sets of fermions. Although the anomaly cancellation conditions typically include cubic equations with integer variables that cannot be solved in general, we prove by construction that any chiral set of ...

EuSc₂Te₄, an antiferromagnetic semiconductor, exhibits a nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE) characterized by quadratic current–voltage behavior. Combined experimental and theoretical studies reveal that this NLHE is linked to its antiferromagnetism and involves contributions from the quantum metric.

Single‐cell/nanoparticle trajectories reveal two‐tier Lévy‐like interactions across bacterial swarms
Bacterial community is a typical model system to study the behavior of multicellular organization, how millions of cells are organized, and how they communicate efficiently microscopically on large spatiotemporal scales have attracted a lot of attention.

I give an account of my involvement with the chiral anomaly, and with the nonrenormalization theorem for the chiral anomaly and the all orders calculation of the trace anomaly, as well as related work by others.
