We consider the properties of electric circuits involving Weyl semimetals. The existence of the anomaly-induced chiral magnetic current in a Weyl semimetal subjected to magnetic field causes an interesting and unusual behavior of such circuits.

Normal Bundles, Pfaffians and Anomalies [PDF]
We deal with the problem of diffeomorphism anomaly in theories with branes. In particular we thoroughly analyze the problem of the residual chiral anomaly of a five-brane immersed in M-theory, paying attention to its global formulation in the five-brane ...

Algebraic study of chiral anomalies† [PDF]
The authors study the algebraic aspects of the structure of chiral anomalies and, by introduction of a back-ground field (fixed connection), they extend the local results so far obtained in such a way that they become globally valid on non-trivial bundles.

2D Multifunctional Spin‐Orbit Coupled Dirac Nodal Line Materials
A total of 473 nonmagnetic and antiferromagnetic 2D spin‐orbit coupled Dirac nodal line materials are screened, spanning 5 layer groups and 12 magnetic space groups. Furthermore, it integrates their topological properties with electride, multiferroic, and magnetic characteristics, revealing unique systems with expanded functionalities and promising ...

Weyl fermions in a non-abelian gauge background and trace anomalies
We study the trace and chiral anomalies of Weyl fermions in a non-abelian gauge background in four dimensions. Using a Pauli-Villars regularization we identify the trace anomaly, proving that it can be cast in a gauge invariant form, even in the presence

Chiral anomaly for local boundary conditions
It is known that in the zeta function regularization and in the Fujikawa method chiral anomaly is defined through a coefficient in the heat kernel expansion for the Dirac operator.

Chiral anomaly induced oscillations in the Josephson current in Weyl semimetals [PDF]
Weyl semimetals are a three dimensional topological phase of matter with linearly dispersed Weyl points which appear in pairs and carry opposite chirality.

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

Large Anomalous and Topological Hall Effect and Nernst Effect in a Dirac Kagome Magnet Fe3Ge
Fe3Ge, a Kagome‐lattice magnet, exhibits remarkable anomalous Hall and Nernst effects, with transverse thermoelectric conductivity surpassing or comaprable to some well‐known ferromagnets. First‐principles calculations attribute these to Berry curvature from massive Dirac gaps. Additionally, topological Hall and Nernst signals emerge from field‐induced

Chern-Simons modification of fluid mechanics
We show that the hydrodynamics of the perfect fluid admits a natural modification that incorporates a chiral gravitational anomaly (also known as a mixed gauge-gravity anomaly) alongside the chiral current anomaly.
