We study the effect of an external magnetic field on the chiral phase transition in the theory of the strong interaction by means of a renormalization-group (RG) fixed-point analysis, relying on only one physical input parameter, the strong coupling at a

Phenomenology of the chiral phase transition
Abstract If the chiral and deconfining phase transitions are essentially second order, the onset of critical behavior might be observable from prompt dilepton production in very hot fireballs by changes in the position and width of the ϱ-meson peak.

Analog geometry in an expanding fluid from AdS/CFT perspective
The dynamics of an expanding hadron fluid at temperatures below the chiral transition is studied in the framework of AdS/CFT correspondence. We establish a correspondence between the asymptotic AdS geometry in the 4+1 dimensional bulk with the analog ...

On SU(3) Effective Models and Chiral Phase Transition
Sensitivity of Polyakov Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (PNJL) model and Polyakov linear sigma-model (PLSM) has been utilized in studying QCD phase-diagram. From quasi-particle model (QPM) a gluonic sector is integrated into LSM.

Quark pair production in a rapid chiral phase transition [PDF]
The production of quarks and antiquarks during a sudden restoration of chiral symmetry, as it might occur in very energetic heavy ion collisions, is considered. If gluons are already present they can assist additively to the overall production: real gluons are partially decaying during such a chiral transition.

If the weak were strong and the strong were weak
We explore the phase structure of the Standard Model as the relative strengths of the SU(2) weak force and SU(3) strong force are varied. With a single generation of fermions, the structure of chiral symmetry breaking suggests that there is no phase ...

Thermodynamics and susceptibilities of isospin imbalanced QCD matter
We study the thermodynamics and the susceptibilities of quark matter in the framework of two-flavor Nambu–Jona–Lasinio model at finite isospin chemical potential and temperature.

Chiral phase transition and spin alignment of vector mesons with chiral imbalance in a rotating QCD medium [PDF]
We study the two-flavor NJL model under the rotation and chiral chemical potential $\mu_{5}$. Firstly, the influence of chiral imbalance on the chiral phase transition in the $T_{pc}-\omega$ plane is investigated. Research manifests that as $\mu_{5}$ increases, the critical point (CEP) of the $T_{pc}-\omega$ plane chiral phase transition will move ...
