Critical phenomenon of the layered chiral helimagnetic YbNi3Al9
Two-dimensional layered YbNi _3 Al _9 exhibits a chiral helimagnetic ground state, which is a candidate for the field-modulated chiral magnetic soliton. In this work, the magnetism and critical phenomenon of YbNi _3 Al _9 are investigated.

Quark matter in a parallel electric and magnetic field background: Chiral phase transition and equilibration of chiral density [PDF]
In this article we study spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking for quark matter in the background of static and homogeneous parallel electric field $\bm E$ and magnetic field $\bm B$.

Chirality-changing phase transitions in 4d string vacua [PDF]
We provide evidence that some four-dimensional N=1 string vacua with different numbers of generations are connected through phase transitions. The transitions involve going through a point in moduli space where there is a nontrivial fixed point governing the low energy field theory.

Anisometric carbon nanodots are synthesized directly from a liquid crystal precursor and embedded into polymer network liquid crystals to create soft, multifunctional photonic films. These hybrid devices exhibit polarized photoluminescence, broad UV absorption, and fast, electrically tunable light modulation.

Free‐standing plasmonic gold‐based fractal antennas are fabricated by 3D nanoprinting, employing focused electron beam induced deposition and an optimized purification method to remove carbon while conserving structural fidelity. Simulation and experiment show broadband plasmonic activity, including customizable polarizability, thereby paving the way ...

Hadrons below the chiral phase transition
Abstract We calculate the leading coefficients of the low temperature expansion for the pressure and for the quark condensate. Accounting for the exponentially small contributions generated by massive states with the dilute gas approximation, we obtain quantitative predictions up to a temperature of the order of 150 MeV as well as an estimate for the

Reconfigurable Metamirrors Based on Compliant Mechanisms
Providing the basis for numerous practical applications, the reconfigurability of metadevices is of great importance. Through the integration of controlled mechanical deformation with chiral meta‐atoms, a compliant mechanism based metamirror is demonstrated for active control over the polarization of electromagnetic waves.

Wavelength-tunable infrared metasurfaces with chiral bound states in the continuum
In recent years, research on chiral bound states in the continuum (BIC) has surged, leading to the development of various chiral metasurfaces with narrow bandwidths by breaking of in-plane and out-of-plane symmetries.

Chiral magnonic edge states in ferromagnetic skyrmion crystals controlled by magnetic fields
Achieving control over magnon spin currents in insulating magnets, where dissipation due to Joule heating is highly suppressed, is an active area of research that could lead to energy-efficient spintronics applications.
