Dynamics of the Chiral Phase Transition [PDF]

open access: yesActa Physica Polonica B Proceedings Supplement, 2014
The intention of this study is the search for signatures of the chiral phase transition in heavy-ion collisions. To investigate the impact of fluctuations, e.g., of the baryon number, at the transition or at a critical point, the linear sigma model is treated in a dynamical (3+1)-dimensional numerical simulation.

Restoration of chiral symmetry in cold and dense Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with tensor renormalization group

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We analyze the chiral phase transition of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model in the cold and dense region on the lattice, developing the Grassmann version of the anisotropic tensor renormalization group algorithm.

Domain growth in chiral phase transitions [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics A, 2011
We investigate the kinetics of chiral phase transitions in quark matter. We discuss the phase diagram of this system in both a microscopic framework (using the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model) and a phenomenological framework (using a Landau free energy). Then, we study the far-from-equilibrium coarsening dynamics subsequent to a quench from the chirally ...

Chiral phase transitions around black holes [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2011
In this paper we discuss the possibility that chiral phase transitions, analogous to those of QCD, occur in the vicinity of a black hole. If the black hole is surrounded by a gas of strongly interacting particles, an inhomogeneous condensate will form. We demonstrate this by explicitly constructing self-consistent solutions.

Chiral Magnetic Effect and Chiral Phase Transition [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Theoretical Physics, 2011
We study the influence of the chiral phase transition on the chiral magnetic effect. The azimuthal charge-particle correlations as functions of the temperature are calculated. It is found that there is a pronounced cusp in the correlations as the temperature reaches its critical value for the QCD phase transition.

Chiral phase transition in dissipative dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2002
Numerical simulations of the chiral phase transition in the (3+1)dimensional O(4)-model are presented. The evolutions of the chiral field follow purely dissipative dynamics, starting from random chirally symmetric initial configurations down to the true vacuum with spontaneously broken symmetry.

Kibble-Zurek exponent and chiral transition of the period-4 phase of Rydberg chains

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
Phase transition occurring in quantum material is an intriguing phenomenon. Here, the authors discuss the commensurate-incommensurate phase transition out of the period-4 phase on a chain of Rydberg atoms and emphasize the emergence of a chiral ...

Chiral phase transition and spin alignment of vector mesons in the polarized-Polyakov-loop Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model under rotation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D
By using the analytic continuation method, a polarized Polykov-loop potential at finite real angular velocity is constructed from the lattice results at finite imaginary angular velocity. The chiral and deconfinement phase transitions under rotation have

Gravitational waves from chiral phase transition in a conformally extended standard model [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2019
The gravitational wave (GW) background produced at the cosmological chiral phase transition in a conformal extension of the standard model is studied. To obtain the bounce solution of coupled field equations we implement an iterative method. We find that
