Parity Doubling and the Dense-Matter Phase Diagram under Constraints from Multi-Messenger Astronomy

open access: yesUniverse, 2019
We extend the recently developed hybrid quark−meson−nucleon model by augmenting a six-point scalar interaction and investigate the consequences for neutron-star sequences in the mass−radius diagram. One of the characteristic features of

The separation of the chiral and deconfinement phase transitions in the curved space-time [PDF]

open access: yesProg. Theor. Phys. 128 (2012), 925-939, 2012
We calculated the chiral condensate and the dressed Polyakov loop in the space-time $R\times S^{3}$ and $R\times H^{3}$. The chiral condensate is the order parameter for the chiral phase transition, and the dressed Polyakov loop is the order parameter for the deconfinement phase transition.

Phase transition of the three-dimensional chiral Ginzburg-Landau model -- search for the chiral phase [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. B 82, 014404 (2010), 2010
Nature of the phase transition of regularly frustrated vector spin systems in three dimensions is investigated based on a Ginzburg-Landau-type effective Hamiltonian. On the basis of the variational analysis of this model, Onoda et al recently suggested the possible occurrence of a chiral phase, where the vector chirality exhibits a long-range order ...

Density fluctuations and chiral phase transition [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics, 2008
Based on an effective QCD Lagrangian we discuss the properties of charge density fluctuations in the vicinity of chiral phase transition. We explore thermodynamics in the presence of spinodal phase separation. We show that appearance of spinodal decomposition in a non-equilibrium first order phase transition results in divergence of the charge density ...

QCD critical end point from a realistic PNJL model

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
With parameters fixed by critical temperature and equation of state at zero baryon chemical potential, a realistic Polyakov-Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (rPNJL) model predicts a critical end point of chiral phase transition at (μEB = 720MeV; TE = 93MeV).

High-pressure induced Weyl semimetal phase in 2D Tellurium

open access: yesCommunications Physics, 2023
Relativistic Weyl fermion quasiparticles in Weyl semimetal bring the electron’s chirality degree of freedom into the electrical transport and give rise to exotic phenomena.

Excess of pions with chiral symmetry restoration [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Lett. B404 (1997) 1-7, 1997
We study the effect of the chiral phase transition on pion production in hot hadronic matter. The phase of restored chiral symmetry is characterized by the appearance of the scalar $\sigma$-meson as a chiral partner of the pion as well as by the degeneracy of the vector and axial-vector mesons.
