We show that melting the quark mass, the scalar $ $ mass and the quark condensate leads uniquely to the quark-level SU(2) linear $ $ model field theory. Upon thermalization, the chiral phase transition curve requires $T_c =2f^{CL}_ \approx 180 MeV$ when $ = 0$, while the critical chemical potential is $ _c =m_q\approx 325 MeV$.

Curvature effects on phase transitions in chiral magnets [PDF]
Periodical equilibrium states of magnetization exist in chiral ferromagnetic films, if the constant of antisymmetric exchange (Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction) exceeds some critical value. Here, we demonstrate that this critical value can be significantly modified in curved film.

Microscopic origin of criticality at macroscale in QCD chiral phase transition [PDF]
We reveal that the criticality of the chiral phase transition in QCD at the macroscale arises from the microscopic energy levels of its fundamental constituents, the quarks. We establish a novel relation between cumulants of the chiral order parameter (i.

QCD θ-vacua from the chiral limit to the quenched limit
We investigate the dependence of the QCD vacuum structure on the θ-angle and quark mass, using the Di-Vecchia–Veneziano model. Although the Di-Vecchia–Veneziano model is a chiral effective model, it contains the topological properties of the pure Yang ...

Novel Lifshitz point for chiral transition in the magnetic field [PDF]
Based on the generalized Ginzburg-Landau theory, chiral phase transition is discussed in the presence of magnetic field. Considering the chiral density wave we show chiral anomaly gives rise to an inhomogeneous chiral phase for nonzero quark-number chemical potential.

Is the chiral phase transition induced by a metal-insulator transition? [PDF]
We investigate the QCD Dirac operator with gauge configurations given by a liquid of instantons in the region of temperatures about the chiral phase transition. Both the quenched and unquenched cases are examined in detail. We present evidence of a localization transition in the low lying modes of the Dirac operator around the same temperature as the ...

Reversible Single-Crystal-to-Single-Crystal Phase Transition of Chiral Salicylidenephenylethylamine
The chiral crystal of enantiomeric (S)-N-3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene-1-phenylethylamine in the enol form [enol-(S)-1] undergoes a reversible single-crystal-to-single-crystal (SCSC) phase transition at Tc ≈ 3 °C from the room temperature α-form in ...

Chirality quantum phase transition in the Dirac oscillator [PDF]
We study a relativistic spin-1/2 fermion subjected to a Dirac oscillator coupling and a constant magnetic field. An interplay between opposed chirality interactions culminates in the appearance of a relativistic quantum phase transition, which can be fully characterized.

Conformal and chiral phase transitions in Rydberg chains
Using density matrix renormalization group simulations on open chains, we map out the wave vector in the incommensurate disordered phase of a realistic model of Rydberg chains with 1/r^{6} interactions, and we locate and characterize the points along the
