Surface tension of dense matter at the chiral phase transition [PDF]
If a first-order phase transition separates nuclear and quark matter at large baryon density, an interface between these two phases has a nonzero surface tension. We calculate this surface tension within a nucleon-meson model for domain walls and bubbles.

We study the effect of an external magnetic field on the chiral phase transition in the theory of the strong interaction by means of a renormalization-group (RG) fixed-point analysis, relying on only one physical input parameter, the strong coupling at a

Concerning the chiral phase transition in QED [PDF]
Using the effective potential for composite operators but without using a variational approach, we show the possible existence of a dynamical phase transition from a massive phase to a massless one.

Chiral phase transition and instanton–anti-instanton molecules [PDF]
We explore the idea that the chiral phase transition in QCD can be described as a transition from a disordered instanton liquid to a strongly correlated phase of polarized instanton anti-instanton molecules. We find a number of non perturbative effects caused by the presence of instantons above T_c, among them the fact that instantons contribute to the

Analog geometry in an expanding fluid from AdS/CFT perspective
The dynamics of an expanding hadron fluid at temperatures below the chiral transition is studied in the framework of AdS/CFT correspondence. We establish a correspondence between the asymptotic AdS geometry in the 4+1 dimensional bulk with the analog ...

QCD critical end point from a realistic PNJL model
With parameters fixed by critical temperature and equation of state at zero baryon chemical potential, a realistic Polyakov-Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (rPNJL) model predicts a critical end point of chiral phase transition at (μEB = 720MeV; TE = 93MeV).

High-pressure induced Weyl semimetal phase in 2D Tellurium
Relativistic Weyl fermion quasiparticles in Weyl semimetal bring the electron’s chirality degree of freedom into the electrical transport and give rise to exotic phenomena.

PION VELOCITY NEAR THE CHIRAL PHASE TRANSITION [PDF]
We focus on the pion velocity at the critical temperature and study the quantum and hadronic thermal effects based on the vector manifestation (VM). We show the non-renormalization property on the pion velocity $v_ $, which is protected by the VM, and estimate the value of $v_ $ to be close to the speed of light.

The chiral and deconfinement phase transitions [PDF]
Abstract By introducing the dressed Polayakov loop or dual chiral condensate as a candidate order parameter to describe the deconfinement phase transition for light flavors, we discuss the interplay between the chiral and deconfinement phase transitions, and propose the possible QCD phase diagram at finite temperature and density.
