Phase diagram of chirally imbalanced QCD matter [PDF]
We compute the QCD phase diagram in the plane of the chiral chemical potential and temperature using the linear sigma model coupled to quarks and to the Polyakov loop. The chiral chemical potential accounts for effects of imbalanced chirality due to QCD sphaleron transitions which may emerge in heavy-ion collisions. We found three effects caused by the

Fluctuations and thermodynamic geometry of the chiral phase transition [PDF]
We study the thermodynamic curvature, $R$, around the chiral phase transition at finite temperature and chemical potential, within the quark-meson model augmented with meson fluctuations. We study the effect of the fluctuations, pions and $ $-meson, on the top of the mean field thermodynamics and how these affect $R$ around the crossover. We find that

Presence of a chiral soliton lattice in the chiral helimagnet MnTa3S6
Chiral helimagnetism was investigated in transition-metal intercalated dichalcogenide single crystals of MnTa3S6. Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) experiments revealed the presence of harmonic chiral helimagnetic order, which was successfully ...

Does the chiral magnetic effect change the dynamic universality class in QCD?
In QCD matter under an external magnetic field, the chiral magnetic effect (CME) leads to the collective gapless mode called the chiral magnetic wave (CMW).

Topological phase transitions and Weyl semimetal phases in chiral photonic metamaterials
Recently, topologically nontrivial phases in chiral metamaterials have been proposed. However, a comprehensive description of topological phase diagrams and transitions in chiral metamaterials has not been presented.

The chiral phase transition in QCD
The Chiral Phase Transition in QCD is studied analytically by looking at truncations of the Schwinger-Dyson equation for the quark self-mass. We find that the usual implementation of the gluon propagator at non-zero temperature is far too simple. When the gluons are given the correct qualitative non-zero temperature behaviour, the calculation of the ...

Dense nucleonic matter and the renormalization group
Fluctuations are included in a chiral nucleon-meson model within the framework of the functional renormalization group. The model, with parameters fitted to reproduce the nuclear liquid-gas phase transition, is used to study the phase diagram of QCD.

Anomaly matching in QCD thermal phase transition
We study an ’t Hooft anomaly of massless QCD at finite temperature. With the imaginary baryon chemical potential at the Roberge-Weiss point, there is a ℤ2 symmetry which can be used to define confinement.
