Photofabrication of Chiral Plasmonic Nanostructure Arrays

ChemNanoMat, 2023
AbstractChiral plasmonic nanostructures can be potentially applied to chiroptical materials and devices, as well as sensors for chiral molecules. When those are applied to metasurfaces or metamaterials, those would be appropriately oriented and aligned.

Induced Chirality through Electromagnetic Coupling between Chiral Molecular Layers and Plasmonic Nanostructures

Nano Letters, 2012
We report a new approach for creating chiral plasmonic nanomaterials. A previously unconsidered, far-field mechanism is utilized which enables chirality to be conveyed from a surrounding chiral molecular material to a plasmonic resonance of an achiral metallic nanostructure.

Nonlinear Amplification of Chirality in Self-Assembled Plasmonic Nanostructures

ACS Nano, 2021
Molecular chirality transfer and amplification is at the heart of the fundamental understanding of chiral origin and fabrication of artificial chiral materials. We investigate here the nonlinear amplification effect in the chiral transfer from small molecules to assembled plasmonic nanoparticles.

Self‐Assembly of Chiral Plasmonic Nanostructures

Advanced Materials, 2016
Plasmonic chiroptical effects have attracted significant attention for their widespread potential applications in negative‐refractive‐index materials, advanced light‐polarization filters, and ultrasensitive sensing devices, etc. As compared to top‐down fabrication methods, the bottom‐up self‐assembly strategy provides nanoscale resolution, parallel ...
