Redescription of Uroptychus Ensirostris Parisi, 1917 (Decapoda, Anomura, Chirostylidae)
Crustaceana, 1987Uroptychus ensirostris Parisi, 1917 est redecrit et figure d'apres l'holotype conserve au Musee d'Histoire naturelle de Milano. Le specimen, decrit par Parisi comme femelle, presente un orifice sexuel sur la coxa du 3e pereiopode gauche, mais a les pleopodes du type mâle; il etait probablement parasite par un Rhizocephale.

A new squat lobster, Uroptychus marissae, is described based upon two specimens taken associated with the antipatharian Tanacetipathes sp. from the northern Gulf of Mexico, at a depth of about 90 m. It closely resembles U. minutus Benedict, 1902, known only from the type material from off Trinidad.
