Analysis of polymorphic membrane protein expression in cultured cells Identifies PmpA and PmpH of Chlamydia psittaci as candidate factors in pathogenesis and immunity to infection [PDF]
The polymorphic membrane protein (Pmp) paralogous families of Chlamydia trachomatis, Chlamydia pneumoniae and Chlamydia abortus are putative targets for Chlamydia vaccine development. To determine whether this is also the case for Pmp family members of C.

Improving performance of CNN to predict likelihood of COVID-19 using chest X-ray images with preprocessing algorithms [PDF]
As the rapid spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) worldwide, chest X-ray radiography has also been used to detect COVID-19 infected pneumonia and assess its severity or monitor its prognosis in the hospitals due to its low cost, low radiation dose, and wide accessibility.

Rac1 regulates the NLRP3 inflammasome which mediates IL-1beta production in Chlamydophila pneumoniae infected human mononuclear cells. [PDF]
Chlamydophila pneumoniae causes acute respiratory tract infections and has been associated with development of asthma and atherosclerosis. The production of IL-1β, a key mediator of acute and chronic inflammation, is regulated on a transcriptional level ...
