(Carbazol-9-ido-κN)dichlorido(η5:η1-2,3,4,5-tetramethylpentafulvene)tantalum(V)
The reaction of (η5:η1-2,3,4,5-tetramethylpentafulvene)tantalum(V) dicarbazolide chloride (1) with etheric HCl results in the formation of the title compound (2), [Ta(C10H14)(C12H8N)Cl2].

The title compound, C(4)H(10)N(+)·Cl(-), was obtained as a decomposition product from 2,6-bis-(pyrrolidin-yl)pyridine. The anion lies on the same cristallographic mirror plane as the N atom of the cation, the complete cation being generated by mirror symmetry.

LRRC8A is essential for hypotonicity-, but not for DAMP-induced NLRP3 inflammasome activation
The NLRP3 inflammasome is a multi-molecular protein complex that converts inactive cytokine precursors into active forms of IL-1β and IL-18. The NLRP3 inflammasome is frequently associated with the damaging inflammation of non-communicable disease states

Channelopathies, defined as diseases that are caused by mutations in genes encoding ion channels, are associated with a wide variety of symptoms. Impaired chloride transport can cause diseases as diverse as cystic fibrosis, myotonia, epilepsy, hyperekplexia, lysosomal storage disease, deafness, renal salt loss, kidney stones and osteopetrosis.

Genetic Diversity in Barley and Wheat for Tolerance to Soil Constraints
Surface soil sodicity as well as subsoil salinity, acidity, and phytotoxic concentrations of chloride (Cl) are major soil constraints to crop production in many soils of sub-tropical, north-eastern Australia.

Cyclobenzaprinium chloride [PDF]
In the title mol-ecular salt [systematic name: 3-(5H-dibenzo[a,d]cyclo-hepten-5-yl-idene)-N,N-dimethyl-propan-aminium chloride], C(20)H(22)N(+)·Cl(-), two cation-anion pairs make up the asymmetric unit. The dihedral angles between the mean planes of the two fused benzene rings of the cation are 49.5 (1) and 50.9 (1)°.

The influence of curing and aging on chloride transport through ternary blended cement concrete
The effect of the extension of the curing period and exposure time to a chloride source on the transport of these ions has been studied in concrete with 100% Portland cement (OPC) and with ternary cement composed of 64% OPC, 30% blast furnace slag (BFS ...
