The application of the herbicide chlorimuron-ethyl has a lasting toxic effect on some succession crops. Here, a bacterium capable of utilizing chlorimuron-ethyl as the sole source of nitrogen was isolated from the contaminated soil and was identified as Enterobacter ludwigii sp.

MoAti1 mediates mitophagy by facilitating recruitment of MoAtg8 to promote invasive growth in Magnaporthe oryzae

MoATI1 is found to be required for mitophagy and pathogenicity in Magnaporthe oryzae and can be used as a target for reducing rice blast by the host‐induced gene silencing (HIGS) strategy.
