Chlorine is used commonly to prevent biofouling in cooling water systems. The addition of chlorine poses environmental risks in natural systems due to its tendency to form chlorination by-products (CBPs) when exposed to naturally-occurring organic ...

Decay Characteristics of Neutron Excess Chlorine Nuclei
In neutron star mergers, neutron excess nuclei and the r-process are important factors governing the production of heavier nuclear systems. A single-particle model evaluation of chlorine nuclei suggests that the heaviest Z = 17 nucleus will have mass 62 with filling of the 1g9/2 neutron shell.

A fully polymeric two‐dimensional array of Dielectric Elastomers enables self‐sensing, cooperative actuation, and large‐stroke operation in a DE‐based autonomous conveyor. Based only on voltage and current measurements at actuator level, the system detects the presence of a ball and subsequently drives it toward a target position.
