A Rare Manifestation of CNS Leukemia: A Case Report

open access: yesCase Reports in Hematology, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is uncommon, reported in < 3% of patients, and confers poor prognosis. We present a 71‐year‐old Korean woman with prior myeloid sarcoma who progressed to AML and later developed isolated CNS leukemia. Her course included pancytopenia, extramedullary skin lesions, hyperleukocytosis,

Enzymes of glycogen metabolism in white blood cells II. Activation and inactivation of glycogen phosphorylase of rat chloroma

open access: yes, 1966
1. The properties of glycogen phosphorylase ( α-1,4-glucan:orthophosphate glucosyl transferase, EC 2.4.1.1) of rat chloroma, a tumor composed entirely of immature granulocytes, and the interconversion of the active and inactive forms of the enzyme have ...

Effect of Secukinumab Versus Adalimumab Biosimilar on Radiographic Progression in Patients With Radiographic Axial Spondyloarthritis: Results From a Head‐to‐Head Randomized Phase IIIb Study

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Volume 76, Issue 8, Page 1278-1287, August 2024.
Objective Spinal radiographic progression is an important outcome in radiographic axial spondyloarthritis (SpA). The objective of the phase IIIb SURPASS study was to compare spinal radiographic progression in patients with radiographic axial SpA treated with secukinumab (interleukin‐17A inhibitor) versus adalimumab biosimilar (Sandoz adalimumab [SDZ ...
