Status of single‐balloon enteroscopy‐assisted endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in patients with surgically altered anatomy: Systematic review and meta‐analysis on biliary interventions

Digestive Endoscopy, 2020
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in patients with surgically altered anatomy is still challenging. Usefulness of single‐balloon enteroscopy (SBE)‐assisted ERCP has been increasingly reported. Short SBE is considered beneficial with a

Diagnostic Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography [PDF]

open access: possibleEndoscopy, 1998
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is still a gold standard in the diagnostic work-up of the pancreaticobiliary system. However, the problem of post-ERCP pancreatitis has not yet been solved. Since the appearance of magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), there has been a trend for it to replace ERCP as an imaging tool ...

Comparison of Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, Endoscopic Ultrasonography, and Fecal Elastase 1 in Chronic Pancreatitis and Clinical Correlation

Pancreas, 2009
Objectives: In this study, we prospectively compared the use of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), and fecal elastase 1 in patients with chronic pancreatitis and searched for correlation with symptoms,

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography

The American Journal of Surgery, 1982
The ERCP report in the patient's chart was compared with findings on common duct exploration or cystic duct cholangiography in 72 patients and found to have a sensitivity of 90.4 percent, a specificity of 98 percent, and an accuracy of 95.8 percent.

The effectiveness of a low-dose esketamine versus an alfentanil adjunct to propofol sedation during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography: A randomised controlled multicentre trial.

European Journal of Anaesthesiology, 2019
BACKGROUND Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is one of the most complex gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures. Currently, it is still unclear which sedation regimen best facilitates an ERCP.

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography

Endoscopy, 2012
The 2012 Digestive Disease Week meeting (DDW; 19 – 22 May, San Diego, California, USA) brought together the finest gastroenterologists from all over the world. A review of the field of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) showed there to be a good number of research reports, though no groundbreaking novelties.

Diagnostic Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography

Endoscopy, 2001
Since the introduction of magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), the focus in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) has shifted from diagnosis to treatment - a change that has organizational implications in relation to teaching and providing access to ERCP.

ENDOSCOPIC RETROGRADE CHOLANGIOPANCREATOGRAPHY

Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, 1978
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) involves cannulation of the papilla of Vater followed by contrast radiology of the biliary and pancreatic ducts. With experience, X‐ray films of the desired duct(s) can be obtained in 90% of patients, with minimal patient discomfort and a low frequency of complications.
