Steric Coordination Modulated Iodine Chemistry With Four‐Electron Conversion for Zinc‐Iodine Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐additive electrolyte strategy is developed to address the hydrolysis of I+ in the aqueous electrolytes. The steric‐hindrance effect of TES− effectively shields I+ from nucleophilic attacks by hydroxyl groups, facilitating the reversible I−/I0/I+ conversion with four‐electron transfer.

Effects of Lipotropic Products on Productive Performance, Liver Lipid and Enzymes Activity in Broiler Chickens [PDF]

open access: yesPoultry Science Journal, 2015
In a 42-d experiment, 576 one-day-old Vencobb 308 broiler chicks were used to investigate the effects of lecithin extract (0.5 g/kg), choline chloride 60% (1 g/kg) and Bio choline (1 g/kg) in diets of moderate and high energy in a 4 × 2 factorial ...

Fibronectin1‐Expressing Subicular Circuits Selectively Govern the Retrieval of Novel Object Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fibronectin 1 (FN1)‐expressing subicular subpopulations encode novel object preference and selectively govern retrieval of novel object recognition (NOR) via affecting excitability of entorhinal‐projecting circuit through large conductance Ca2+‐activated potassium (BK) channel. ABSTRACT Novel object recognition (NOR), referring to the cognitive ability

Regulation of osmoadaptation in the moderate halophile Halobacillus halophilus : chloride, glutamate and switching osmolyte strategies

open access: yes, 2008
The moderate halophile Halobacillus halophilus is the paradigm for chloride dependent growth in prokaryotes. Recent experiments shed light on the molecular basis of the chloride dependence that is reviewed here.

Table_1_Physiological and lipidomic response of exogenous choline chloride alleviating salt stress injury in Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis).docx

open access: yes, 2023
IntroductionCholine participates in plant stress tolerance through glycine betaine (GB) and phospholipid metabolism. As a salt-sensitive turfgrass species, Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) is the main turfgrass species in cool-season areas.MethodsTo ...
