A CMOS chopper amplifier

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1986
This paper presents a CMOS chopper amplifier realized with a 2nd order low-pass selective amplifier, using continuous-time filtering technique. The circuit has been integrated in a 3 ?m p-well low-voltage CMOS technology. The chopper DC gain is 32 dB with 200 Hz bandwidth.

An Integrated Thermopile-Based Sensor with a Chopper-Stabilized Interface Circuit for Presence Detection

open access: yesSensors, 2019
This paper presents a sensor-readout circuit system suitable for presence detection. The sensor consists of a miniaturized polysilicon thermopile, realized employing MEMS micromachining by STMicroelectronics, featuring a responsivity value equal to 180 V/

An Apparatus and Method for Evaluating Particle-Size Distribution of Small Grain Crop Residues

open access: yesAgriEngineering, 2022
Size-reduction of small grain residue is required on the combine harvester to promote uniform distribution of residue across the full harvested width. However, unnecessary size reduction increases energy expenditures that can reduce harvester capacity ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Development of TO Chopper

open access: yeshamon, 2005
We are developing TO choppers for neutron scattering experiments at the J-PARC. First, we designed and assembled a TO chopper running at 100 Hz, and investigated its mechanical properties. The phasing accuracy of ±5μs, whish is necessary for utilizing 2 eV neutrons, was realized, and vibrations of the system were reasonably low. We are now continuously
