An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.

High resolution color band pyrometer ratioing [PDF]
The sensing head of a two-color band ratioing pyrometer of a known type using a fiber optic cable to couple radiation to dual detector photodiodes is improved to have high spatial resolution by focusing the radiation received through an objective lens (i.

Beyond Earth: Resilience of Quasi‐2D Perovskite Solar Cells in Space
In the article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202520433), Christoph Putz and co‐workers demonstrate rigid quasi‐2D perovskite solar cells operating in low Earth orbit, delivering stable power for more than 100 days under real‐space conditions. In‐orbit performance is correlated with extensive ground‐based thermal and proton‐irradiation studies on rigid and ...

A 5-nV/√Hz Chopper Negative-R Stabilization Preamplifier for Audio Applications
This paper presents a low-noise and low-power audio preamplifier. The proposed low-noise preamplifier employs a delay-time chopper stabilization (CHS) technique and a negative-R circuit, both in the auxiliary amplifier to cancel the non-idealities of the

We present a microfabrication and integration strategy for lead halide perovskite photodetectors on electronic readouts. Standard photolithography, aqueous processing, selective transparent electrode etching, and plasma‐assisted pixel isolation enable precise monolithic integration of patterned 400 × 400 perovskite microphotodetector arrays on a CMOS ...

Lipid drug carriers to which ultra‐small gold nanoparticles were added enabled more efficient radiotherapy of cultured pancreatic cancer tumors. These nanoparticles boosted radiation‐induced damage to tumors by generating more reactive molecules, though higher gold levels are needed for strong benefits.

Controlling Ultrafast Photonic‐Plasmonic Coupling in a Hybrid Platform for Biosensing Applications
A metal–dielectric hybrid composed of gold nanocaps on opal exhibits a broad near‐infrared plasmonic resonance interacting with the photonic bandgap under ultrafast transient conditions. This coupling can be controlled by varying the excitation wavelength and is responsive to bacterial deposition, opening new opportunities for ultrafast biosensing ...
