Choroidal abnormalities in café‐au‐lait syndromes: a new differential diagnostic tool?
The best known café-au-lait syndrome is neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). Legius syndrome (LS) is another, rarer syndrome with café-au-lait macules (CALMs). In young patients their clinical picture is often indistinguishable.

Episcleral pseudorheumatoid nodule with a choroidal mass simulating malignant melanoma.
Annals of ophthalmology, 1992A 47-year-old man had an injected episcleral mass, anterior uveitis, and a grayish white elevated choroidal mass with exudative retinal detachment. Excisional biopsy of the episcleral mass showed pseudorheumatoid nodule. All investigations for rheumatic diseases were negative.
