Understanding Egg Price Volatility and Policy Implications in the U.S. With Machine Learning

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Eggs are an inexpensive and sustainable source of proteins, but volatility in the U.S. egg prices has intensified in recent years, raising concerns over food affordability and market stability. This study examines the drivers of U.S. egg price dynamics over 2004–2025 using a two‐stage framework that combines LASSO‐based variable selection with

Testing the Marketing Performance of German Wheat Farmers

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper analyses the marketing performance of wheat farmers in Germany. Wheat sales data from 465 individual farms over a 12‐year period are used to test against different market benchmarks. Market benchmarks are constructed by simulating passive trading agents using regional wheat prices.

Christianization of Norway

open access: yes, 2007
Christianization of Norway During a post doctoral project I have tried to investigate more closely when Norway was Christianized first time (c. AD 1000) by studying archaeological sources. The art of writing mostly arrived together with Christianity, and

Spatially Informed Feature Selection and Machine Learning in Matrix‐Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Imaging for Cohort‐Scale Molecular Tissue Phenomics in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization imaging‐based identification of reliable small molecule markers across heterogeneous glioblastoma cohorts is challenging with intensity‐only methods. We present spatially informed feature selection (SIFS), a spatially informed framework that prioritizes molecules consistently colocalizing with histopathology.

SuperResNET: Model‐Free Single‐Molecule Network Analysis Software Achieves Molecular Resolution of Nup96

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
SuperResNET is a powerful integrated software that reconstructs network architecture and molecular distribution of subcellular structures from single molecule localization microscopy datasets. SuperResNET segments the nuclear pore complex and corners, extracts size, shape, and network features of all segmented nuclear pores and uses modularity analysis

Calibration‐Free Electromyography Motor Intent Decoding Using Large‐Scale Supervised Pretraining

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Calibration‐free electromyography motor intent decoding is enabled through large‐scale supervised pretraining across heterogeneous datasets. A Spatially Aware Feature‐learning Transformer processes variable channel counts and electrode geometries, allowing transfer across users and recording setups. On a held‐out benchmark, fine‐tuned cross‐user models

La favola in Gregorio di Nazianzo

open access: yesErga-Logoi, 2019
Exercises based upon the Aesopian μῦθος (προγυμνάσματα) were common in imperial schools of rhetoric. Being educated in such schools, Gregory of Nazianzus dealt with the fable: clear evidence lies in his oeuvre, where fable items are indeed widespread. By
