Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with a Zone Tariff
ABSTRACT High demand and volume fluctuations, constrained transportation capacity, and weak network effects compel retailers to rely on external logistic service providers (LSPs) instead of operating their own transportation fleet. This outsourcing process requires retailers to propose tours to LSPs that then carry out the store deliveries.

Design of Production Gate Valve and Actuator for Subsea All-electric Christmas Tree
Hydraulic controlled oil production systems have disadvantages such as high cost, difficult high pressure control oil transmission and oil leakage. To address the issue, the subsea all-electric Christmas tree gate valve and actuator are designed.

Associations of Commercial Fisheries and Cold‐Water Corals and Sponges
Three metrics for determining whether the marine life that are landed by commercial fisheries are associated with cold‐water corals and sponges: (a) Adjacent; (b) General Proximity; and (c) Habitat. The relationship between these structure forming invertebrates (SFI) and fisheries is robust across analytical approaches.

Adding new branches to the “Christmas tree” of the quasinormal spectrum of black branes
In holography, quasinormal spectra of black branes coincide with the poles of retarded finite-temperature correlation functions of a dual quantum field theory in the limit of infinite number of relevant degrees of freedom such as colours.

Many regions across New Zealand experience cold, wet winters with low pasture growth. Consequently, farmers often rely on winter forage crops to feed cows, resulting in challenges with animal welfare, environmental damage and operational difficulties. Despite the potential of off‐paddock facilities to overcome negative outcomes of crop wintering, only ...

Abstract The Mont Blanc granite, as other deformed granites, has splitting properties attributed to two perpendicular planes: one formed by aligned fractures and the other by aligned micas in foliation planes. It is shown that this microstructure results from ductile deformation with stress‐driven dissolution of quartz and feldspar that passively ...
