OPTRACE: Optical Imaging–Guided Transplantation and Tracking of Cells in the Mouse Brain

OPTRACE establishes an optical, two‐step platform for intracerebral cell therapy. Transparent glass pipettes enable real‐time, image‐guided delivery, while multiplex genetic labeling with two‐photon and bioluminescence readouts supports longitudinal single‐cell tracking and host–graft dynamics.

Mechanism‐Driven Screening of Membrane‐Targeting and Pore‐Forming Antimicrobial Peptides

To combat antibiotic resistance, this study employs mechanism‐driven screening with machine learning to identify pore‐forming antimicrobial peptides from amphibian and human metaproteomes. Seven peptides are validated, showing minimal toxicity and membrane disruption.

The author proves that for any pair of positive integers \(r\) and \(s\), there exists an integer \(N(r,s)\) such that every graph with chromatic number at least \(N(r,s)\) contains either the complete graph \(K_r\) or an induced odd cycle of length at least 5 or an induced cycle of length at least \(s\).
