Quad‐SPIM: A High‐Speed, Multi‐Color Light‐Sheet Microscope for 3D Imaging of Large Cleared Human Brain Tissues

A high‐speed, multi‐color light‐sheet microscope, named quad‐SPIM, enables rapid three dimensional (3D) imaging of large cleared human brain samples with simultaneous four‐channel acquisition. This custom‐built system achieves subcellular resolution across centimeter‐scale volumes, maintaining high image quality.

Highly Durable and Uniform Structural Coloration via Spray‐Coated Organic Mie Resonators Randomly Distributed in Three Dimensions

This study demonstrates uniform, durable non‐iridescent structural coloration using polystyrene nanoparticles randomly embedded in a thick sodium silicate with absorptive additives. By suppressing the effects of the structure factor and multiple scattering, this approach achieves uniform coloration from the backscattering.

Portulaca eggliana (Portulacaceae), a new species from the Brazilian Amazonian savannas

A new species of Portulacaceae from the Amazonian savannas of northern Brazil is herein described and illustrated. Portulaca eggliana is morphologically related to P. umbraticola, but differs in the number of involucral leaves, sepal morphology, bracteole shape, and seed surface.
