Scale‐robust fibre orientation analysis of hair using two‐dimensional Fourier transform
We present a simple and robust method to quantify hair fibre orientation using 2D‐DFT. It works with standard images and extracts directional features at multiple scales. This enables objective evaluation of cosmetic treatments and product effects. Abstract Objective To address the current lack of standardized tools for evaluating hair appearance in ...

$(q,t)$-chromatic symmetric functions
By using level one polynomial representations of affine Hecke algebras of type $A$, we obtain a $(q,t)$-analogue of the chromatic symmetric functions of unit interval graphs which generalizes Syu Kato's formula for the chromatic symmetric functions of unit interval graphs.

On K-theoretic polynomials and the chromatic symmetric function
This thesis explores various problems related to polynomials from combinatorial K-theory and/or to the chromatic symmetric function. We prove four main results: 1.
