Revista CENIC Ciencias Químicas, 2002 D003 is a mixture of saturated very long-chain fatty acids ranging from 24 to 36 carbon atoms, obtained from sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum L.) wax, with antiplatelet, 'antithrombotic, antioxidant and cholesterol-lowering effects .
