High pressure liquid chromatography of benzimidazolcs

open access: yesPesticide Science, 1976
AbstractA laboratory‐assembled high pressure liquid chromatograph with variable wavelength ultraviolet detector is described. The chromatography of the systemic fungicides benomyl, thiabendazole, thiophanate, related fungicides and benzimidazoles (13 compounds in all) is described using reverse phase and adsorption systems.

Enricher for Fraction of High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Chromatographic Science, 2005
A device is developed for concentrating a dilute solution without losing the components with boiling points slightly higher than the solvent. The device consists of an evaporator, receptor, and approximately 100 capillaries. A dilute solution is introduced into the evaporator and heated at a lower temperature than the boiling point of the solvent with ...

Ultra-High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography ☆ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
One decade has passed since the introduction of commercial ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC) technology and columns packed with sub-2-μm particles, which has led to significant improvements in separation efficiency and sample throughput. This article outlines fundamental and practical aspects of UHPLC.

High Pressure Liquid Chromatography of Zearalenone in Cereals

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1978
Abstract A high pressure liquid chromatographic method has been developed for determining zearalenone in cereals. The sample is extracted with phosphoric acid and chloroform. The extract is cleaned up by washing on a silica gel column with benzene-hexane or cyclohexaneethylene dichloride-ethyl ether and eluting with chloroform, and ...

High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography of Caffeine in Coffee

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1976
Abstract A new method is described for the determination of caffeine in coffee, based on high-pressure liquid chromatography. The caffeine is extracted from the sample with water and/or methylene chloride, and then separated from interfering materials by passing an aliquot of the extract through a high-pressure column containing ...

Method transfer from high-pressure liquid chromatography to ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography. II. Temperature and pressure effects

open access: yesJournal of Chromatography A, 2015
The importance of the generated temperature and pressure gradients in ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC) are investigated and compared to high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). The drug Omeprazole, together with three other model compounds (with different chemical characteristics, namely uncharged, positively and negatively charged)
