Eosinophils‐Induced Lumican Secretion by Synovial Fibroblasts Alleviates Cartilage Degradation via the TGF‐β Pathway Mediated by Anxa1 Binding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Eosinophils play a crucial role in the progression of temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA). This study demonstrates that eosinophils, induced by OVA/IL‐5, promote Lumican secretion in the synovium, which binds to Annexin A1 in chondrocytes, inhibiting transforming growth factor β2 and Smad2/3 phosphorylation.

High-pressure liquid chromatography of carbohydrates

Journal of Chromatography A, 1974
Abstract A procedure is described for the separation of water-soluble wood polysaccharides on Bio-Glas (granular porous glass) and Bio-Gel P (polyacrylamide) packed columns using high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). An example of HPLC employing non-aqueous solvent systems and EM Gel OR-PVA (vinyl acetate copolymer) type packing materials is ...

High-pressure liquid chromatography on triacetylcellulose

Journal of Chromatography A, 1983
Abstract Microcrystalline triacetylcellulose ( d p = 10–20 μm) was used for analytical liquid chromatography at pressures around 50 bar. 1,3,5-Tri- tert .-butylbenzene is proposed as a compound which is not retained on this sorbent. Thus, reliable information about porosity, linear flow-rates, u , and relative retentions become available for the ...

Laboratory Automation of High‐Pressure Liquid Chromatography

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1975
An automated system for high-pressure liquid chromatography was developed. The system is built around commercial modules wherever possible, modified to varying degrees. An automatic sampler, a sample pump, a high-pressure sampling valve, a recorder with an integrator, and a high-pressure liquid chromatograph comprise the commercial instruments. Relays,
