Opisthobranchiate Mollusca From Ghana: Chromodorididae

Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 1981
Abstract Descriptions are given of eight species of Doridoidea belonging to the family Goniodorididae from Ghana, West Africa. There are six species of Okenia of which Okenia impexa Marcus 1957 is known from both sides of the Atlantic, while the other five species are only known from West Africa: Okenia africana n. sp. has many long lateral processes;

The Chromodorididae (Opisthobranchia: Mollusca) of the Indo-West Pacific: A Review of the Genera

Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 1984
The full anatomy of over fifty species of the Chromodorididae is described including the type species of all but one of the nominal genera. The holotype material of the type species of Ehrenberg's problematic genera Glossodoris, Actinodoris and Pterodoris is described.

Comparative Analysis of Complete Mitochondrial Genomes of Five Chromodorididae Species (Nudibranchia:Doridina)

Biochemical Genetics
Mitochondrial genome is an important molecular marker for exploring the phylogenetic relationships of species and revealing molecular evolution. In the present study, 5 mitogenomes of Chromodorididae (Chromodoris lochi, Chromodoris colemani, Chromodoris elisabethina, Chromodoris annae and Hypselodoris whitei) were systemically investigated. The lengths

The Chromodorididae (Opisthobranchia: Mollusca) of the Indo-West Pacific: The Genus Ceratosoma J. E. Gray

Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 1988
The genus Ceratosoma (Nudibranchia: Chromodorididae) is reviewed and seven species, including two new species, are recognized. Species of the genus are known only from the Indo-West Pacific and it is suggested that the external body shape is the most useful character in distinguishing species.

Polyphyly across oceans: a molecular phylogeny of the Chromodorididae (Mollusca, Nudibranchia)

Zoologica Scripta, 2007
The Chromodorididae is a large and colourful family of nudibranch sea slugs distributed across the world's oceans. Most diversity is centred in the Indo‐Pacific, but several genera are present in multiple ocean basins, or across regions separated by biogeographical barriers. The monophyly of these widespread genera had not been tested previously.

A species complex within the red-reticulate Goniobranchus Pease, 1866 (Nudibranchia: Doridina: Chromodorididae)

Marine Biodiversity, 2020
The taxonomy and diversity of chromodorid nudibranchs (Mollusca: Gastropoda: Nudibranchia) are relatively well-studied, although molecular analyses have only been applied to test few species-level groups. Within Chomodorididae, the genus Goniobranchus Pease, 1866 contains many different groups based on external colouration, including the red-reticulate

A review of feeding specificity in the sponge-feeding Chromodorididae<br (Nudibranchia: Mollusca)

Molluscan Research, 2007
New feeding information on 108 species of the sponge-feeding chromodorid nudibranchs is presented, and published information for 63 species re-evaluated. The combined information for 137 species shows a clear pattern of food specificity, at both species and genus levels. New feeding information on the related Actinocyclidae is also presented.

The Chromodorididae (Opisthobranchia: Mollusca) of the Indo-West Pacific: Noumea purpurea and Chromodoris decora Colour Groups

Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 1986
Nine species of chromodorid nudibranchs are described including a new species of Durvilledoris and a new species of Noumea. The Noumea purpurea colour group consists of five species with a pink, purple or reddish-purple background and a median white line, sometimes broken.

The Chromodorididae (Opisthobranchia: Mollusca) of the Indo-West Pacific: Noumea flava colour group

Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 1986
Six species of the genus Noumea are described including four new species. All species are yellow, and four have orange markings as well; one has a white mantle border and the last has red gills and rhinophores. Noumea flava has a widespread distribution in the Indo-West Pacific and two other species are known from the tropical Pacific.

Multi-Data Set Revision of Two Uncommon Species of Chromodorididae (Nudibranchia) from the Gulf of Mexico

American Malacological Bulletin, 2011
Abstract: Morphological and molecular data are used to address the taxonomic status of two uncommon species of opisthobranch molluscs from the Gulf of Mexico. Chromodoris fentoni is a new species closely related to other Atlantic and eastern Pacific congeneric species.
