ABSTRACT In colorectal small‐cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, superficial endoscopic biopsies may be misleading due to predominant submucosal growth. When endoscopic features strongly suggest malignancy despite benign histology, deep biopsies and early multidisciplinary evaluation are essential.

Mouse mammary tumour virus (MMTV) and human breast cancer with neuroendocrine differentiation
Background Mouse mammary tumour viruses (MMTVs) may have a role in a subset of human breast cancers. MMTV positive human breast cancers have similar histological characteristics to neuroendocrine breast cancers and to MMTV positive mouse mammary tumours.
