TET1 Inhibition Promotes Therapeutic Sensitivity in TP53‐Mutant GBM by Influencing Genome Fragility and Altering TAMs Biology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In TP53mut GBM cells, reduced P53 function is associated with increased TET1 expression. Genetic or pharmacological inhibition of TET1 correlates with genome fragility, including DNA damage, cellular senescence, telomere shortening, and reactive oxygen species accumulation, which may contribute to increased efficacy of antitumor therapy.

Mapping human chromosomes

Current Opinion in Genetics & Development, 1995
The construction of integrated maps at all levels of resolution will facilitate determination of the DNA sequence and, ultimately, the entire gene content of the human genome. In the past two years, the need for extensive frameworks on which to anchor the maps of the human chromosomes has been emphasized. The first framework has been provided following

Mapping the Phytoplasma Chromosome

2012
Physical and genetic mapping of the phytoplasma chromosome can be a useful tool in a genome sequencing project in order to assemble the in silico-predicted contigs robustly. Mapping consists of four distinct steps: preparation of phytoplasma chromosomes from infected plants, single- and double-digestion of chromosomes with rare-cutting restriction ...
