DNA Replication Errors Drive Genome‐Wide Small Inverted Triplication Dynamics
This study provides insight into the dynamic equilibrium mechanism of a novel structural variant, small inverted triplication (SIT), which is generated by misalignment of the 3’ flap generated under DNA replication stress with palindromic sequence. Alternatively, the end sequence may fold back on itself to form an inverted fragment.

In this article, Shuai and colleagues demonstrate that metabolic remodeling drives self‐diploidization in murine haploid ESCs (haESCs). Mitochondrial dysfunction and imbalanced pyruvate metabolism underlie this process. Genome‐wide screening using haESCs identifies key mitochondrial quality‐control related genes, enabling a metabolism‐based medium that

Underlying Mathematics in Diversification of Human Olfactory Receptors in Different Loci
As per conservative estimate, approximately (51-105) Olfactory Receptors (ORs) loci are present in human genome occurring in clusters. These clusters are apparently unevenly spread as mosaics over 21 pair of human chromosomes.

Whole‐genome analysis of 1,054 chickens reveals three ancestral sources (NWC, SYA, and SHF) with distinct temporal entry patterns into the Tibetan Plateau. Route‐specific selection scans, calibrated against a demographic null, suggest complementary functional enrichments—vascular homeostasis (NWC), calcium signaling and cardiac adaptation (SYA), and ...

Live-cell visualisation of chromatin for the study of radiation-induced chromosome aberrations
This thesis was submitted for the degree of Master of Philosophy and awarded by Brunel University.Chromosomes can be visualised during the metaphase stage of the cell cycle however, there are various limitations associated with the visualisation of ...

A chair-type G-quadruplex structure formed by a human telomeric variant DNA in K+ solution
Guanine tracts of human telomeric DNA sequences are known to fold into eight different four-stranded structures that vary by the conformation of guanine nucleotides arranged in the stack of G-tetrads in their core and by different kinds and orders of ...

ABSTRACT The muscle capsule of Trichinella is a critical structure that impedes immune attacks and drug penetration, yet the molecular mechanisms underlying its formation remain poorly understood. Using a high‐quality super‐pangenome comprising 12 Trichinella species, we compared extensive genomic variations between encapsulating and non‐encapsulating ...

This study identifies SNRPF as a critical oncogenic driver in ovarian cancer. By regulating a self‐sustaining SNRPF–DDX24–E2F4 feedback loop through intron retention and nonsense‐mediated decay, SNRPF couples RNA splicing with transcriptional regulation to promote tumor progression.

A graphene oxide/collagen scaffold is developed for chronic massive rotator cuff tear repair. The scaffold improves compressive stability, supports reparative mesenchymal differentiation, and modulates the immune microenvironment. In chronic MRCT models, it reduces muscle degeneration, enhances tendon–bone regeneration, and improves functional recovery,
