A Serum N‐Glycan Ratio Associated With Disease Severity and Treatment Response in Psoriasis

open access: yesThe Journal of Dermatology, Volume 53, Issue 8, Page 1090-1098, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Psoriasis is a chronic, immune‐mediated inflammatory disease with heterogeneous manifestations. Reliable biomarkers reflecting disease severity and treatment response remain limited. Glycans—carbohydrate structures attached to proteins and lipids—play key roles in biological processes, contributing to functional specificity.

LC‐OCT for Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus: Characterization Across Disease Subtypes and Differentiation From Rosacea

open access: yesExperimental Dermatology, Volume 35, Issue 8, August 2026.
In this cross‐sectional study of 45 patients, including 30 with cutaneous lupus erythematosus and 15 with rosacea, line‐field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC‐OCT) identified in vivo microarchitectural patterns. Acute and subacute cutaneous lupus were characterized predominantly by interface dermatitis, including dermoepidermal junction ...

Single‐Cell RNA Sequencing Revealed the Role of Interferon‐Gamma Related Genes in Primary Sjögren's Syndrome

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 15, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder. Dysregulated interferon‐gamma (IFN‐γ) signalling is implicated in pSS pathogenesis, yet the underlying mechanisms remain elusive. This study aimed to identify key IFN‐γ‐associated diagnostic genes and delineate their roles in immune dysregulation using peripheral blood ...

Exploring Genetic Associations Between Autoimmune Diseases and Pathological Scars: A Bidirectional Mendelian Randomization Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Autoimmune diseases and pathological scars share inflammatory and fibroproliferative features, but observational evidence cannot establish whether their co‐occurrence reflects causation or shared biology. We used bidirectional Mendelian randomization (MR) to test genetic associations between clinically defined autoimmune diseases ...

Microarray Gene Expression Analysis of Lesional Skin in Canine Vesicular Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus (VCLE)

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 37, Issue 4, Page 478-487, August 2026.
Background: Vesicular cutaneous lupus erythematosus (VCLE) is a rare autoimmune disease in dogs and is considered the canine counterpart of human subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE). However, the molecular mechanisms underlying VCLE remain incompletely defined.
