Orbit, 2012Dacryocystitis related to Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is rare. We describe a case of Strenotrophomonas maltophilia-related chronic dacryocystitis with associated coagulase-negative Staphylococcus. Following external dacryocystorhinostomy without intraoperative or postoperative antibiotics, her discharge and lacrimal sac fullness resolved.
