Results of middle ear operations performed between 1984-1989 were analyzed. The operations included 139 simple mastoidectomies, 68 radical mastoidectomies, and 41 simple mastoidectomies with tympanoplasty. 342 tympanoplasties were also performed, 51 in children up to 14 years old and 291 in those over 14.
