Middle to Late Pleistocene valley‐slope cambering: The interglacial basin at Wing, Rutland, England
ABSTRACT A depression in the Jurassic bedrock at Wing, Rutland (eastern England), is infilled by deposits spanning the Late Wolstonian (=Late Saalian) to Early Devensian (=Early Weichselian) substages, including the most complete Ipswichian Stage (=Eemian Stage; ~Marine Isotope Stage 5e) sequence known in Britain. This sequence forms an enclosed pocket,

Nature and timing of Late Mississippian to Mid-Pennsylvanian glacio-eustatic sea-level changes of the Pennine Basin, UK [PDF]
The Pennine Basin of northern England contains a comparatively complete Serpukhovian– Moscovian succession characterized by high-resolution ammonoid zonation and cyclic paralic sedimentation.

Abstract The Late Pleistocene stratigraphic sequence of Heinrich event layers 1 to 5a shows a high petrological diversity with systematically varying abundances of specific ice‐rafted detritus (IRD) species. Our study core GeoB18530‐1 from the southeastern Grand Banks Slope of Newfoundland resolves these in continuity and considerable detail.

Paleoceanography of the eastern equatorial Pacific during the Neogene: Synthesis of Leg 138 drilling results [PDF]
The primary objective of Leg 138 was to provide detailed information about the ocean\u27s response to global climate change during the Neogene. Two north-south transects were drilled (95° and 110°W) within the region of equatorial divergence-driven ...

Abstract Supracrustal greenstone belts of the Rae craton of north Baffin Island have been historically attributed to the Mary River Group (MRG), a key tectonostratigraphic unit of economic significance. Best‐preserved exposures of supracrustal rocks occur within the Eqe Bay Greenstone Belt.

Abstract In the southwest USA, the Colorado Plateau is encircled by Late Cenozoic volcanic fields, most of which have eruptive histories that are marginally constrained. Establishing the spatiotemporal evolution of these volcanic fields is key for quantifying volcanic hazards and understanding magma genesis.

Abstract This study presents a 1:100,000 scale geologic map of the region encompassing Mons Mouton, Mons Malapert, and Cabeus crater, highlighting the region's geologic diversity. Based on location and topography, Mons Mouton and Mons Malapert are interpreted as remnant massifs of the South Pole‐Aitken (SPA) basin rim.
