Chrysopogon gryllus (L.) Trin. Artbeschreibung: 30-100 cm hoch. Blätter 2-4 mm breit, rau, locker behaart. Anstelle des Blatthäutchens ein Haarkranz. Blütenstand eine sehr lockere Rispe mit langen, dünnen und schlaffen, quirlig angeordneten Ästen, diese unter den Ährchen verdickt und mit goldgelbem Haarschopf.
