The Molecular Basis of Growth Control in Guanine Crystals

Precise control over guanine crystal morphology is achieved through biologically inspired, facet‐selective interactions. Simple synthetic polymers tune growth from prisms to needles and plate‐like biogenic forms by modulating multivalency, polarity, and functional‐group identity.
