Simulation Analysis of Meshing Gear Churning Power Loss based on CFD Method
It is difficult to determine the gear churning power loss directly by theoretical methods because gear churning power loss has a complex relationship with its influencing factors. Because of the pumping effect of gear meshing, there is a certain difference between single gear churning and meshing gears churning.

The research on electric drive wheel technology is an important direction of the research on the new energy drive system in the future. With the increasing requirements of the electric drive wheel on the speed, the oil churning power loss has become a non-negligible part, even up to 50%-80% of the total power loss.

ABSTRACT Real‐time insight into local chemistry is critical for reliable part quality in additive manufacturing, especially laser powder bed fusion (PBF‑LB/M), where rapid thermal cycles and localized evaporation can undermine part performance. Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) offers non‑intrusive, in situ plume monitoring, but detection geometry ...

An analytical method to predict efficiency of aircraft gearboxes [PDF]
A spur gear efficiency prediction method previously developed by the authors was extended to include power loss of planetary gearsets. A friction coefficient model was developed for MIL-L-7808 oil based on disc machine data. This combined with the recent

The behavior of Russian firms in 1992 : evidence from a survey [PDF]
The authors surveyed 41 firms in and around Moscow in the last two weeks of November 1992 to get an empirical handle on how firms are responding to the changing economic environment. They found the following conclusions. There were large negative (supply

Collision‐Resilient Winged Drones Enabled by Tensegrity Structures
Based on structures of birds such as the woodpeck, this article presents the collision‐resilient aerial robot, SWIFT. SWIFT leverages tensegrity structures in the fuselage and wings which allow it to undergo large deformations in a crash, without sustaining damage. Experiments show that SWIFT can reduce impact forces by 70% over conventional structures.
