Monitoring Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar) Smolt Migration in a Large River System Using Environmental DNA

open access: yesEnvironmental DNA, Volume 7, Issue 2, March/April 2025.
In the context of an important Atlantic salmon restoration program conducted in a large river system, we took advantage of the yearly count of smolt to evaluate the suitability of eDNA as a semi‐quantitative tool to monitor smolt migration.
