The Rounded «y» and «i» in the Anatri Dialect of Chuvash
The article is devoted to the rounded vowels in the Anatri dialect of Chuvash which correspond to the unrounded «y» and «i» in Standard Chuvash. The author found that in some cases these vowels are reflexes of labial vowels оf Proto-Turkic language.
