Adv Sci (Weinh)A library of near‐infrared light‐activated molecular jackhammers is synthesized and their photophysical characteristics are analyzed. The most active candidates are potent against multiple cancer cell lines through vibronic‐driven action, a coupling of molecular vibrational and electronic modes over the entire molecule.

This study reveals the harmful effects of U.S. immigration policies and enforcement practices on the children of Salvadoran immigrant and deported fathers.
