Perceptually optimized color image watermarking scheme based on CIEDE2000 color difference equation
Proceedings of 2004 International Symposium on Intelligent Multimedia, Video and Speech Processing, 2004., 2005In this paper, a wavelet-based color image watermarking scheme is proposed, which is perceptually optimized by a visual model based on the CIEDE2000 color difference equation. The visual model estimates the distortion visibility threshold (DVT) for each wavelet coefficient of each color channel.

Derivation of a hue-angle dependent, hue-difference weighting function for CIEDE2000
SPIE Proceedings, 2002CIE technical committee TCl-47 was established with a goal to improve the performance of the CIE94 color-difference equation. Recent visual experiments indicated that a hue-angle dependency might exist. Four datsets focused on hue differences were used to derive a new hue-angle function.

A method to quantify the ornamental value (OV) of a flower of garden rose (Rosa Ahybrida) was created, based strictly on measurements. Here OV means the capacity to produce a uniform colour effect. The blooming time of flowers was distributed into 23 phenological sub-stages from the immature bud to the falling of petals.
