Effect of Rapid Thermal Annealing of CIGS Thin Film as an Absorber Layer [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2013
The influence of rapid post-deposition thermal annealing (500 °C for 2 minutes) on the CIGS thin films of different thicknesses (0.4 to 1.0 m) has been investigated.

Numerical Simulation, Preparation, and Evaluation of Cu(In, Ga)Se2 (CIGS) Thin-Film Solar Cells

open access: yesChemEngineering, 2023
This study presents the numerical simulation, optimization, preparation, and characterization of Cu(In, Ga)Se2 (CIGS) thin-film solar cells (TFSCs). Different cell parameters were investigated, including Ga/(Ga+In) (GGI) ratios, the thicknesses of CIGS ...

The TRPM2–PARP‐1 Axis Involvement in Bisphenol A and Nonylphenol‐Induced Ferroptosis in Trigeminal Ganglion Cells

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Environmental contaminants like bisphenol A (BPA) and nonylphenol (NP) are recognized neurotoxicants; however, the molecular mechanisms underlying their impact on sensory ganglia, specifically the trigeminal ganglion (TG), remain critically underexplored.

Opto-electrical modelling of CIGS solar cells

open access: yes, 2020
One of the key approaches to slow down and eventually prevent dramatic climate change is direct electricity generation from sunlight. Thin-film copper indium gallium (di)selenide (CIGS) is an excellent candidate for highly efficient and stable solar ...

Copper gallium selenide thin films on Si by magnetron sputtering for photovoltaic applications: Composition, junction formation and metal contacts

open access: yesCogent Engineering, 2018
Thin films of CuGaSe were deposited on n-Si (1 0 0) by rf magnetron sputtering from a stoichiometric CuGaSe2 target. The objective of this study was to characterize the thin film/Si heterojunction for potential photovoltaic applications, evaluate ...

Prevalence and correlates of prior experimentation with e-cigarettes over conventional cigarettes among adolescents: Findings from the 2015 Korea Youth Risk Behaviour Web-based Survey

open access: yesTobacco Prevention and Cessation, 2019
Introduction As concern is increasing about electronic cigarette use among neversmoking youth, we aimed to examine the prevalence and correlates of prior experimentation of electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) over conventional cigarettes (c-cigs). Methods We

Continuous Subcutaneous Versus Intestinal Levodopa Infusion for Parkinson's Disease: A Real‐World, Monocentric, Observational Study and Critical Review

open access: yesMovement Disorders Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Subcutaneous foslevodopa‐foscarbidopa (SCFF) is a novel, non‐surgical dopaminergic infusion therapy for better controlling motor fluctuations in advanced Parkinson's disease (PD). However, there are scarce real‐world data on efficacy, adverse events and comparisons with other infusion strategies. Objectives Here, we aimed to provide

Effect of the Incoherent Encapsulation Layer and Oblique Sunlight Incidence on the Optical and Current-Voltage Characteristics of Surface-Textured Cu(In,Ga)Se2 Solar Cells Based on the Angle-Dependent Equispaced Thickness Averaging Method

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
In general, the optical and electrical characteristics of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) solar cells have been studied under the condition that sunlight is normally incident from the air to the CIGS solar cell having no thick front encapsulation layers.

Near 13% Efficient Semitransparent Cu(In,Ga)S2 Solar Cells With Band Gap of 1.6 eV on Transparent Back Contact

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates progress in the development of wide‐bandgap CIGS solar cells featuring a transparent back contact, for the application of top cell in tandem devices. A semitransparent device with a bandgap of 1.6 eV achieved a power conversion efficiency of nearly 13% on an ITO back contact.
